Blueberry Cranberry Smoothie

Smoothie bowls are not going away this year, at least not for me. I love to enjoy a filling breakfast that not only tastes good but is good for you!

As the new year begins most people tend to set out on a diet, but I want to remind you to stop dieting, stop restricting and start living. When we put boundaries on things ofter we fail ourselves and feel guilty over it. So instead of saying I am going to cut carbs or I am going to lose X amount of pounds why not be loving to yourself and say I am going to fuel my body with the right foods that make me feel good, I am going to drink more water, I am going to get proper rest and I am going to love myself.

Last year when speaking of how I don't love my arms it was said to me instead of saying "I hate my arms" why not compliment them and thank them for the ways in which they help get you through a day. My arms help me to cook, to lift weights, to tell stories and so much more. Instead of fueling my mind with thought of how I hate my arms I instead have showered them in love, and it feels better to my soul. Why don't you try that the next time you are hating on yourself.

Ok, now after a little lesson in love I am going to share this delicious smoothie recipe.
